Apostle Prophetess Dr. J. Brittany Woods, a Holy Spirit led pioneer, community activist, teacher, counselor, and visionary has been facilitating biblical instruction and counseling thousands of members of the Body of Christ for over thirty years. She continues to evolve while in pursuit of God and his Kingdom.
In 2006, Dr. Woods responded with swift obedience to a God given assignment to gather with five women on the telephone, to pray and intercede for others. Today, The Voices of Intercession Global Ministries, Inc., prayer line, affectionately called, "The Lifeline" by its many benefactors, is now providing the opportunity for Dr. J. Brittany Woods to reach thousands of callers, so that they can have a forum to request prayer, share testimonials, study the word, and fellowship with other believers. People from all around the world, in search of the supernatural move of God, call weekdays at 5:00 AM to hear a word from the Lord.
As a result of the overflow of the anointing on the prayer line, the Prophetic Prayer Towers and International House of Intercession (I.H.O.I), were birthed to allow the saints to assemble together regularly in an atmosphere that is conducive to spiritual growth, for those seeking refuge and desiring to experience the powerful tool of intercessory prayer, fasting and worship.
Her extensive media portfolio includes radio broadcast, “Prophetic Whisper”, television talk shows, “The Voice”, “Straight Talk”, and the highly anticipated prophetic news show, entitled “The Prophetic View”, all hosted by Dr. J. Brittany Woods. Dr. Woods desire to spread the gospel and give others the opportunity to introduce their ministries to the world led her to create B.A.N.G (Birthing A New Generation) network which is located at the headquarters of the International House of Intercession in Georgia, United States of America.
Dr. Woods established the outreach center, Hannah’s House to provide services for at-risk populations.
Dr. J. Brittany Woods is always exploring new opportunities to train, empower and encourage leaders, as well as those that simply want to learn, which prompted her to found the Voice of Intercession Theological Institute, where she currently holds the position of president.
Dr. J. Brittany Woods has hosted conferences, written placards, booklets and manuals to enhance church growth and development. As an entrepreneur, she has established Memory Gardens Senior Care Companion Services, which specializes in the care of Alzheimer clients and
Lady Grace Counseling Agency, focusing on all areas of therapeutic counseling.
She has earned a Bachelor of Theology, a Masters of Divinity in Counseling, a Doctorate of Divinity, and a Doctorate in Clinical and Pastoral Counseling with advance certifications from the Family Bible Worldwide Ministries Seminary and University in Baltimore, Maryland, graduating at the top of her class as valedictorian. She is board certified in the areas of Integrated Marriage and Family Therapy, Child and Adolescent Therapy, Substance Abuse and Addiction Temperament Therapy, Sexual Therapy, Death and Grief Intervention Therapy, and Group Therapy. Dr. Woods continue to be a member in good standing of the American Association of Registered Chaplains.
Because of Dr. Woods’s great concern for the youth, she has established two organizations entitled “M.O.M" (Mothers of Mercy) and “D.A.D" (Dads Advocating Decency). The organizations were birthed out of her compassion and empathy for parents that have lost their children. Both organizations focus on the prevention of violence, incarceration and death that surrounds today’s youth. To help bring awareness to this phenomenon, Dr. Woods has taken her vision on a tour called “A Midnight Cry: A Call for a Chosen Generation”, which she will take across the country praying to end suicide, abuse, murder, incarceration and the premature death of young children.
She has been happily married for over thirty-three years to Dr. Willie Woods, her presiding prelate and Apostolic Overseer of City of Faith Global Ministries, Inc.
Dr. J. Brittany Woods is a pioneer, committed to being the epitome of holiness. She is soul driven to reach the lost at any cost and walking the Body of Christ through deliverance so that it will be healthy and rapture ready.
